Barbara and I, sans les enfants, spend the first week of May in Paris with our friends Ken and Suzy, and Ken's daughters Cindy and Michelle. We rented apartments on the Ile St Louis, the center of the city

Jonathan Siegel (JSBird) > The buildings on Ile St Louis were built in the mid 1600's. Most are in exquisite shape, though a few showed the tilt of age

Jonathan Siegel (JSBird) > Booksellers line the Seine on both sides. Sometimes one can find a rare book here.

Jonathan Siegel (JSBird) > The Bateaux Mouches tour boats glide by the cathedral, throwing light onto the buildings that flank the river.
